KRASNODAR, July 17 The authorities of Krasnodar have stepped up security measures in the regional capital in connection with the emergency on the Crimean bridge, Mayor Evgeny Naumov said in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced a stoppage of traffic on the Crimean bridge due to an emergency in the area of the 145th support from the Krasnodar Territory. He urged residents of Crimea and guests of the peninsula to refrain from traveling through the Crimean bridge, to choose an alternative route through new regions. According to the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, as a result of the incident, two residents of the region, a man and a woman, were killed, and their minor daughter was injured. The information about the two dead was confirmed by the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory.
“In connection with the night event, public security measures have been strengthened in the city. I ask motorists to plan a route in advance and choose alternative routes to bypass the Crimean Bridge,” Naumov wrote.
