The FSB officers detained a 35-year-old resident of the city of Uglich, Yaroslavl region, on suspicion of collaborating with the Ukrainian special services. The agency's release was published by RIA Novosti.
According to the FSB, the woman “gathered and handed over to [Ukrainian special services] information about one of the critical infrastructure facilities in the Yaroslavl region with the aim of committing a terrorist attack.” A case was brought against her for preparation for a terrorist attack.
On the video distributed by the service a woman with a blurred face is seen being secretly recorded while she is filming a video at the Uglich hydroelectric power station. After gluing, she is already sitting in the FSB office.
Baza and Astra wrote about the detention of a resident of Uglich last week, without disclosing the sources of information. According to them, it was about Veronika Netunaeva, a lawyer who worked in the city administration.
Netunayeva was a consultant in the legal department, for the first time her name appears in the declarations of officials for 2017. The last time she was mentioned was in March 2022, when Netunaeva was holding consultations in the housing sector. Previously, she also worked as a bailiff and assistant judge.
According to aggregators court cases, last year the lawyer was fired from the administration of Uglich. She appealed the decision in court, but was denied. At the same time, Netunaeva, as a lawyer, started questionnaires on the websites for freelancers Profi.ru and YouDo.
Baza and Astra, in their posts about Netunaeva, cited the same wording that the woman “publicly supported the Azov regiment”, “agitated for assistance to citizens of Ukraine participating in hostilities”, and “called for destroy the «SVO logos». In what way, according to their version, this manifested itself, they did not specify. Her pages on VKontakte and Instagram were deleted.
