CAIRO, Jul 19 Two Syrian soldiers were injured in an Israeli missile attack on the outskirts of Damascus, Syrian air defenses shot down most of the missiles, the ministry said
Earlier, Syrian state media reported that Israel launched an attack on the outskirts of Damascus, explosions were heard, Syrian air defense systems were working.
«Today (Wednesday — ed.) at about 00.25, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression with a salvo of missiles from the northern part of the occupied Golan Heights, striking at some objects in the vicinity of Damascus. Our air defense systems responded to missiles s of the aggressor and shot down most of them. As a result of the aggression, two soldiers were injured and some material damage was inflicted,» the Syrian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Facebook*.
