"For the most part, to be honest, I don't really want to perform, record, or do features right now. I am engaged in business and in general other things in life. Because I don’t want to get stuck in a certain cycle – touring and recording songs until the age of 60-70,” the musician admitted.
According to Timati, he respects the singers who have dedicated their lives to their work. But the performer noted that this is not his way.
“I have great respect for the artists who have dedicated their lives to this craft. But I don’t want to limit my life. I need to do everything, try everything, so I’m now focused on other things, on business,” the rapper concluded.
Timati has been doing business for many years. In 2006, he co-founded the Black Star label. The musician left him in 2020. Later, he opened a chain of restaurants, tattoo parlors, barbershops, go-karts in Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as an esports club.
Last year, Timati, together with restaurateur Anton Pinsky, acquired all Starbucks assets in Russia.
