Experts of Avtoteka (Avito project), an online service for checking used cars, analyzed data on requests for the history of crossovers and SUVs with fuel consumption up to 10 liters per km in the first half of 20 23 years old and found out which models in the age categories up to 3 years and from 3 to 5 years were the least likely to be in an accident. The BMW X3 M topped the list of pre-owned SUVs under 3 years of age with the least reported accidents, while the 3 to 5 year category was dominated by the BMW 4 M.
As part of the study, the statistics of cars in the SUV segment with the lowest fuel consumption were considered, for which Autoteka users requested reports in January-June 2023. The data for calculating the average number of accidents was taken from Autoteka's own database.
