The Leninsky District Court of Izhevsk sent a 19-year-old boy accused of sabotage (clause «a» of part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code) to a pre-trial detention center, the press service of the court reports.
According to investigators, on July 14, the defendant set fire to a relay cabinet at the Lyukshudya-Zavodskaya railway section. The investigation believes that this was done for money, so the young man filmed the arson on the phone and «took measures to conceal the means and instruments of the crime.»
According to the SHOT telegram channel, without indicating sources of information, Nikita B. received the task in social networks, he was promised 15 thousand rubles for arson, but he never received this money.
The press service of the Gorky Railway, to which the Lyukshudya-Zavodskaya section belongs, told Interfax that the arson did not affect the movement of trains.
