MOSCOW, July 18 The BRICS are discussing membership criteria, there are already a number of proposals, director of the Latin American Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Shchetinin told reporters.
«The discussion is underway, there are a number of proposals,» he said, answering a question about the development of criteria for membership in the BRICS.
Schetinin also noted the importance of developing relations with those countries that have not joined the anti-Russian sanctions and adhere to constructive approaches.
