“The Investigation Department for the Kirovsky District of the city of Makhachkala of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan initiated a criminal case against a resident of Makhachkala on the fact of providing services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of a person through negligence (paragraph “c” of the second part of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),” the statement says.
According to the investigation, on the evening of July 19, the suspect in her apartment, before the cosmetic procedure, she injected an anesthetic drug to her friend, a 22-year-old resident of Makhachkala. As a result, the girl died suddenly.
It is specified that the suspect performed cosmetic procedures without having a license for medical activities. She was detained, in the near future the court will consider the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention.
In a video published on the telegram channel of the Russian Investigative Committee, the suspect says that she injected the client with lidocaine before the procedure, after which she became ill. She then injected her with an allergy medication and called an ambulance. The detainee also admitted that she had no medical education.
