MOSCOW, Jul 21 — . One of the places of attraction of the III Ethno-fashion Festival of folk art and arts and crafts «Lifestyle — Cultural Code», held in Tatarstan Bolgar, has become a zone of virtual reality. The project «The game of crafts. VR-immersion in the world of folk crafts» is very popular among its visitors.It invites the user to explore the traditions of well-known and little-known Russian folk crafts in a fun interactive way. The plot of the story and modern VR mechanics allow you to learn the history of crafts and decorative arts in the genre of a journalistic game, as well as create your own options for using traditional patterns in modern interiors and objects.
As part of the business program of the festival, Daniil Kononenko, head of the Center for Research and Study of the News Media Audience of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, held a master class where, using the example of the Game of Crafts, he spoke about the use of VR technologies as a new way to develop art crafts. He emphasized that the project was developed together with specialists from enterprises that preserve artistic and technological traditions in the 21st century and remain promising tourist destinations: Gzhel Manufactory, the Association of Palekh Artists, Khokhloma Painting, etc. According to the developers, VR-immersion in the world of folk crafts will promote both the popularization of this invaluable layer of history and culture, and the development of the domestic economy.

III Ethno -fashion The festival of folk art and arts and crafts «Lifestyle — Cultural Code» takes place on July 15-23 at the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve under the auspices of the «Renaissance: Epos in a Modern Reading» festival. It is attended by Russian folk arts and crafts enterprises, craftsmen and artisans from Bahrain, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and different regions of Russia.
