Earlier, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation submitted to the State Duma a draft electoral code, according to which a voting day is set for the elections on the third Sunday of March of that year, in which the terms of office of federal government bodies expire, remote electronic voting (DEG) is canceled and one-day voting is introduced.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission of Russia approved the holding of a DEG on a single voting day in 24 regions of the Russian Federation, in 18 of them for the first time.
