MOSCOW, 21 Jul. Soviet and Russian actor Vyacheslav Golubkov died in St. Petersburg at the age of 74, the Novomoskovsk Drama Theater said on its VKontakte page.
«We express our deep condolences to the family and friends, colleagues and admirers of the artist, to everyone who remembered and knew him. Blessed memory!» says the obituary. Farewell to the actor will take place in St. Petersburg.
Golubkov was born in 1949, he attended a drama club at school. As a student of the 9th grade, he was selected for the role of the Japanese in the film «Republic of ShKID» directed by Gennady Poloka.
From 1977 to 2018, the actor served in the Novomoskovsk Drama Theater, during his work at the theater he played more than 100 roles in plays of modern and classical drama. Since 2018, the artist has lived in St. Petersburg.
