MOSCOW, July 24 Roscosmos has set itself the goal of reducing the cost of finished spacecraft and increasing the rate of their production four times, follows from the speech of the executive director for manned programs of the state corporation Ser Gay Krikalev.
«Up to 28% reduction in the price of finished products,» says the slides presented by the top manager at the Eurasian Aerospace Congress in Moscow.
According to him, the corporation also has the goal of reducing the risks of disruption of production deadlines by a quarter (how much now is not specified) and increasing the rate of production four times — from the current four to eight years to two.
Formerly, the head of Roskosmos, Yuri Borisov said that the domestic space industry should switch to the conveyor production of satellites, the required pace is one device per day.
