The investigation will now have to establish which of the officials failed to fulfill their duties.
According to the prosecutor's office of the region, the man, on whom a poplar branch fell, died before the ambulance arrived.
“On this fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Kemerovo region-Kuzbass organized an inspection of compliance with the rules for landscaping and development of the city’s territory, during which the circumstances of the incident, as well as the actions (inaction) of the authorized officials will be given a legal assessment,” the prosecutor’s office noted. span>
