MOSCOW, July 23 Member of the Central Election Commission of Russia Konstantin Mazurevsky extended an invitation to the organizers of the Cambodian elections to observe the presidential elections in the Russian Federation in 2024 year, the press service of the Central Election Commission reported.
«Konstantin Mazurevsky extended an invitation to the organizers of the Cambodian elections to take part in monitoring the presidential elections in the Russian Federation in March 2024,» reads a message published on the telegram channel of the CEC of the Russian Federation.
According to the press service, Mazurevsky works in Cambodia as an international observer at the elections of deputies of the National Assembly.
«In the morning there were queues at the polling stations, then the flow of voters subsided somewhat, but it can be said with confidence that during the voting period today the polling stations remained the center of attraction for people. The turnout, it seems, is quite high, members of the commissions also confirm this,» Mazurevsky is quoted as saying in the message.
In two days, a member of the CEC visited 54 polling stations.
“Observers from political parties and the Youth Union worked at the polling stations, they confirm that there are no violations,” Mazurevsky added.
