According to Vice — State Duma speaker Pyotr Tolstoy, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan violated his obligations to Russia. This was reported by the Iranian agency Tasnim.
In particular, Tolstoy noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has always fulfilled his obligations towards Turkey, and he hopes that partners will do the same. However, in his opinion, Erdogan failed to fulfill his obligations to Moscow.
Commenting on the position of the Turkish leadership regarding Ukraine's membership in NATO, the Russian diplomat stressed that Moscow cannot support such a step. He added that if Zelensky wants to join NATO, then this should happen without the participation of Ukraine.
Earlier, Erdogan expressed the opinion that Ukraine deserves to become a member of NATO.
