MOSCOW, July 26, Vasily Bogdanov. Mixed martial arts fighter ( MMA) Jeff Monson said that according to the decision of the organizers, the fight with Oleg Taktarov will take place according to the rules of boxing, and called the opponent a legend.
Monson is 52 years old. The American with a Russian passport has 60 wins, 26 losses and one draw. 55-year-old Taktarov scored 17 wins with 5 losses, becoming the first Russian UFC champion.
“On August 18 we will hold a match in Moscow according to the rules of boxing, as it was the decision of the organizers of the fight. Oleg Taktarov is a real legend, a former UFC champion,” said Monson.
