Deputies of the State Duma, traditionally standing up to the anthem of Russia, ended the spring session. 500 laws have been adopted in seven months, speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said. The leaders of all factions, without exception, summing up the results of work for six months, spoke about the support of the president, consolidation and the «anti-fascist, anti-NATO» consensus, which grew out of the «Crimean» one.

Leonid Slutsky, like others, spoke of the “unique rallying” of all parliamentary parties, while defending the government, which is “not easy, because under the sanctions, resources are limited.” The Liberal Democratic Party sometimes refused to support certain laws, Mr. Slutsky recalled, and cited as an example the refusal to vote for raising the draft age: according to him, the amendments were made at the very last moment, there was no opportunity to discuss them normally, and the citizens sent » more than a thousand hits per night.”

As a positive example, he cited the decision to increase customs duties on certain types of goods (the day before, as you know, duties on the import of wine and plywood were increased, and the import of finished fish and seafood products from unfriendly countries was generally prohibited).
< p>«People need confidence in the future, they do not need new fines and restrictions, but respect and support, an honest dialogue», — said Mr. Nechaev, and suggested in the autumn session «to refrain from new bans and fines, for which all the country will say «thank you» to us. There was no reaction from colleagues to this proposal.
“Well, look, Scholz now has 32% support, Macron has 29% … And our president, according to our polls, has 77.3% support,” Vladimir Vasilyev, leader of the ER faction, cited these figures as evidence that voters European countries are less and less supportive of the policy of the United States and its satellites towards Russia.
As usual, the speaker closed the session. 500 laws have been adopted, of which 27% are “socially oriented,” Vyacheslav Volodin reported. 68% of the total number of those adopted are “direct action laws”, that is, they do not require the adoption of by-laws, and from their texts one can immediately understand what to prepare for and what is at stake. There are also framework laws, he explained, the meaning of which is revealed in full later, only after the adoption of regional laws, and in such cases «it is not always possible to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the decisions made.» (This is exactly the framework law that was recently adopted, which gave the regions the right to determine the rules for the treatment of homeless animals on their territories.)
The speaker called the support of SVO participants and their families an “unconditional priority” of the State Duma: on this topic, “77 laws have been adopted throughout the entire time, a unified system of social support has been created.” The Duma was actively engaged in both “the formation of a unified legal field in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation” and “opposition to sanctions.”
Mr. Volodin considers “extremely important” the adopted laws banning the sale of vapes to minors and the prohibition of gender reassignment: “ here we had neither opponents nor those who expressed a different point of view, everyone understood that this was done to protect the family, protect children from destructive propaganda,» he said.
