MOSCOW, 25 Jul. In the US, in the state of Vermont, two sets were stolen from the set of «Beetlejuice 2» directed by Tim Burton. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The first object attracted by the attackers was a 150-pound sculpture, which first appeared in the 1988 Beetlejuice. According to the plot, she was blinded by the mother of the main character named Delia. Nevertheless, the woman twice found herself in an unpleasant situation because of the art object — during the move and at the moment when he came to life with the help of magic.
The second missing prop was a lamppost decorated with a pumpkin. Vermont police have already begun searching and have appealed to concerned citizens with a request to report the whereabouts of the objects, if anything is known about them.
It's not just director Tim Burton's team that has experienced prop theft, however. Last winter, thieves stole equipment and props from the sets of Lupine and The Crown. The amount of damage amounted to 500 thousand dollars.
