YEKATERINBURG, July 27 An investigation was organized after the disappearance of an eight-year-old girl in Yekaterinburg more than a day ago, Alexander Shulga, senior assistant to the head of the regional department of the RF Investigative Committee, told reporters.
«According to preliminary information, on July 26, at about 10 am, the girl left the house on Latviyskaya Street in Yekaterinburg, since then there is no information about her whereabouts. A procedural check has been organized on this fact,» he said.
As noted in the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the personnel of the Yekaterinburg police are focused on searching for the child. The LizaAlert regional search and rescue team clarified that the girl had not returned from her walk. She is 120 cm tall, has a slim build, light brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a pink sweatshirt, dark blue sneakers.
