Ukraine through its ambassador to Israel began blackmailing Tel Aviv, Israel Hayom newspaper writes.
As noted, Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk called on Tel Aviv to provide ballistic missile protection systems, hinting at some danger for Israeli citizens visiting Ukraine.

Korniychuk recalled that on the eve of the Rosh Hashanah holiday, a large number of Hasidic pilgrims are expected to arrive in Ukraine, who are allegedly in danger. The Ukrainian diplomat accused the Israeli authorities of not wanting to «protect the Ukrainians» and suggested that they might want to «protect their citizens.
Korniychuk had previously repeatedly criticized the Israeli authorities for their foreign policy. In June, he was summoned for an interview at the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
