PERM, July 28 The court sentenced to 12 years in prison a resident of Perm, who tried to kill a friend with a pistol in order not to pay him a debt, reports the regional management of the RF IC.
According to the agency, a resident of Perm in 2018 borrowed a large amount of money from his friend. All agreements between men on debt repayment were verbal. After some time, the debtor did not want to return the money received on loan. He armed himself with a pistol, ambushed the creditor on the street in the Motovilikha district of Perm and fired three shots in the direction of his head. Then the borrower threw the victim onto the road and began to choke him. The screams of the victim were heard by a passer-by who intervened in the situation and did not allow the attacker to complete the planned murder. After that, the attacker tried to drive away in the creditor's car, but lost control and got stuck in a snowdrift. Then he abandoned the car and ran away.
Some time later, the attacker was found and detained. Investigators charged the defendant with attempted murder and car theft.
“The guilty person, taking into account the previously imposed punishment, was finally sentenced to 12 years in prison with serving in a strict regime correctional colony, with a fine in the amount of 70 thousand rubles,” the message says.
