The 47news website reports that during the investigation into the circumstances of the death of a man on the shore of Lake Bolshoye Zelenodolskoye near Vyborg, his wife was found.
Earlier it was reported that a man's corpse was found near the reservoir, there was a large explosion crater nearby, and the surrounding trees were cut by shrapnel. It was soon established that the deceased was a geological engineer who, on July 21, went on a hike with his wife. According to a number of reports, the source of the explosion was a field bath, which was built by the couple. It was reported that they used live shells — possibly found in the forest — to increase heat dissipation, and one of them detonated. After the discovery of the body of the man, the search for the woman began, her presence on the shore at the time of the emergency was indicated by the documents found in the tent.
According to preliminary data, the rescuers of the search and rescue unit «Bereg» have already found the body of a woman, according to 47news. The information has not yet been officially confirmed.
It is reported that the identities of the spouses have already been established for sure: they are 62-year-old Petersburger Viktor Gurevich and his 60-year-old wife Natalya. The family lived in an apartment in the north of St. Petersburg.
