The Samara District Court did not arrest Sergei Okrushko, suspected of sabotage at the Kuibyshev oil refinery. This was reported from the courtroom by a TASS correspondent.
The man's lawyer told the agency that his client fully admitted his guilt, repented and cooperated with the investigation.
Under what article a criminal case was opened, it is not known. On the website of the court there is no card in the name of Sergei Okrushko. The day before, a State Duma deputy from United Russia, Alexander Khinshtein, reported that a criminal case was opened against an employee of the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery (Article 281 of the Criminal Code).
According to the parliamentarian, a bomb exploded at the plant. When exactly this happened is unknown. An employee of the plant is suspected of involvement in the explosions; he was detained in the Orenburg region while trying to cross the Russian border. Khinshtein also clarified that the detainee «previously moved to Russia from the territory of Ukraine.»
