
NALCHIK, July 30 Two climbers asked for help in the mountains in the Cherek region of Kabardino-Balkaria, one of them fell off a cliff, rescuers went out to search for them, the GUMCHS reported RF by region.
«At 09.45 Moscow time, information was received that in the Cherek region, on Mount Ural (altitude 4300 meters), members of a tourist group consisting of two people asked for help. According to preliminary information, one of them fell off a cliff, evacuation is required,» the statement said.
According to the agency, three rescuers of the Elbrus high-mountainous search and rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia set out for search and rescue operations
