
MOSCOW, July 29 SpaceX launched the Falcon Heavy launch vehicle carrying the U.S. Jupiter 3 satellite, the largest satellite ever launched into geostationary transfer orbit, SpaceX reports.
Earlier, the Falcon Heavy launch was canceled a minute before launch.
As reported, the launch was carried out on Friday at 23.04 US East Coast time (Saturday, 06.04 Moscow time). After separation, two Falcon Heavy side boosters landed at the LZ-1 and LZ-2 sites at the Cape Canaveral launch site in the US state of Florida.
The companies tweeted that it was the launch of «the largest satellite ever launched into geostationary transfer orbit.»
