MOSCOW, July 26 Singer Valery Kipelov and musicians of the Kipelov rock band, as well as singer Anastasia Spiridonova, met with participants in a special operation in Ukraine, journalists were told on Wednesday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Valery Kipelov, musicians of the Kipelov rock group and pop singer Anastasia Spiridonova joined the action «The Best Warriors of the World» and visited participants in a special military operation to protect the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Central Military Clinical Hospital hospital named after Vishnevsky in the Moscow region,» the department said.
Kipelov conveyed words of gratitude to the servicemen performing combat missions. «The fighters are our Russia, they are the people that no one will ever break, will never win. Thanks to them, our Russia has held on and will hold on. Many thanks to the guys for their courage!» he told reporters.
During the performance, which took place in the club of the hospital, the musicians performed famous songs such as «Take my heart», «I am free», «Unbowed». At the end of the concert, Kipelov and the band members talked to the military and medical personnel and signed autographs.
The socio-cultural action «To the Best Warriors of the World» was organized by the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to support military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation after injuries received in the course of combat missions. As part of the action, famous figures of culture, science, sports, and education visit the military.
