On July 29, a 29-year-old girl was brought to the Alexander Hospital in St. Petersburg at 23:00. The attacker beat and raped the victim in the forest. It is reported by the news agency «Agency for Journalistic Investigations» (Openwork).
Preliminarily, the doctors found the patient had voluminous hematomas and bruises. Information about the rape was passed on to the police. After rendering assistance, the girl was sent home.
In law enforcement agencies, she reported that she was attacked at about 6 in the morning in the forest near Doroga Street in Rybatsky. The only thing the woman knew about the criminal was that his name was Andrei.
Despite the small amount of information, by 10 am the police had arrested the suspect on Piskarevsky Prospekt. It turned out to be a 40-year-old local resident, previously convicted of outrage and theft.
The police are going to initiate a criminal case.
