
MOSCOW, July 27 People's Artist of the RSFSR, the oldest actress of the Mossovet Theater Nina Drobysheva died at the age of 85, the press service reported theater.
«Our wonderful artist Nina Ivanovna Drobysheva passed away tonight after a long illness. The theater team deeply mourns and expresses its condolences to family and friends,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The farewell and funeral at the theater were promised to be announced later.
Nina Drobysheva was born on July 21, 1939 in Leningrad. In 1961 she graduated from the theater studio at the Leningrad Youth Theater. Since 1958, while still studying, she began working in this theater, and since 1962 she served in the Mossovet Theater. On this stage, she became famous for the role of Edith Piaf in the play of the same name.
She also acted in films — in the films «Two Captains», «The Street is Full of Surprises», played the main role in «Clear Sky» by Grigory Chukhrai.
