MOSCOW, 31 Jul. Australian figure skater Harley Windsor said he faced bullying after the death of his partner Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya.
The 20-year-old figure skater Alexandrovskaya died in Moscow in 2020. A native of the capital, she began playing for Australia in 2016.

“I think the main reason for the wave of negativity in my direction was that after Katya’s death, people did not understand how and why this happened. As a rule, people always see what they want, and so it happened in this case, especially considering that we have always been very close. Many people believe that I had a hand in what happened, but this, of course, is not so. When this happened, I was defeated,» the athlete told the Sport-Express newspaper.
According to the skater, he continues to receive death wishes on social networks.

«When I just started receiving these comments, I was depressed and did not understand what I had done to deserve such treatment, but now I know that all these «couch critics» — broken people who are depressed. I feel sorry for them,” added Windsor.
Athletes competed in pair skating, they became two-time Australian champions and junior world champions. Later, the duo took part in the 2018 Olympic Games, where they took 18th place.
