Ahead of the US Presidential Election in 2024, the conflict in Ukraine may escalate, said Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev in an interview with the Arguments and Facts newspaper.
According to him, in terms of the severity of the conflict, these elections may become “very unsuccessful, if not a fatal circumstance.»
«The unpredictability of American behavior will increase, the tail may start wagging the dog again,» he said, acknowledging that such an outcome will not necessarily occur, but it is quite real.
According to him, it is also quite possible that for the sake of political gain, for example, the support of the electorate, one of the American parties may escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
