PARIS, Jul 28 The sixteenth woman has accused French actor Gerard Depardieu of sexual harassment, radio station France Inter reported.
The woman hired as a technician for a «major shoot» is said to have first met Depardieu in her 30s and was harassed by the actor during filming. The woman told the radio station that Depardieu first drew attention to two assistants on the set: in particular, he took one of them on his knees, and once pressed the other against the wall. According to the narrator, then he noticed her.
«He started saying:» I'll take you to eat, I'll get you drunk, we'll have a good evening «… He paid everyone's attention to me while I was working, I realized that I was under his gun … (On the set later week — ed.) At the same time, according to her, none of those who watched what was happening with her and other women did not react. She also noted that she was not going to file a complaint against the actor.
The radio station spoke to a technician who worked with Depardieu on Vidocq (2001), who also talked about the actor's lewd behavior towards a make-up artist on set.
Earlier in July, the radio station reported on another woman joining a group of accusers Depardieu of sexual harassment.
In relation to Depardieu is already under investigation on suspicion of harassment of actress Charlotte Arnoux. In April, the online publication Mediapart published an article in which they collected testimonies from 13 women who claim to have experienced sexual acts from the actor. We are talking about episodes that took place on the set of 11 films and TV series in the period from 2004 to 2022.
The actor has always denied any allegations against him.
