DONETSK, Aug 1In 15 minutes, Ukrainian troops fired 17 shells at Donetsk, Makeevka and the Yasinovatsky district, two local residents and a child were wounded in Panteleymonovka during shelling, according to the Telegram channel of the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine.
According to the department, at 16:30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on the Yasinovatsky district.
«Four shells of 155 mm caliber were fired,» the publication says.
At the same time, three more shells hit Makiivka.

At 16:45, Ukrainian troops fired in three directions at once: three shells were fired twice at the Kirovsky district of Makiivka, three shells were fired at the Yasinovatsky district, and four 155-mm shells were fired at the Petrovsky and Kirovsky districts.
A little earlier, Panteleymonovka came under fire. Two women and a 13-year-old girl were injured there.
Artillery of 155 mm caliber is in service with NATO. In particular, these are American M-777 howitzers, German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns. The United States and its allies supplied Kyiv with a large number of these weapons, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine use primarily for shelling cities and towns in the Donbass. The victims of these strikes are mostly civilians.
