DONETSK, Aug 1 Ukrainian troops fired 18 155mm NATO caliber shells in Donetsk, Makeevka and Yasinovatsky district in 15 minutes, the DPR office at the Joint Control Center said and coordination of issues related to war crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).
«Fire was recorded from the VFU (armed formations of Ukraine — ed.) in the following directions: 16.05 — the settlement of Maksimilyanovka — the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky district): four shells with a caliber of 155 millimeters were fired; 16.10 — the settlement of Maksimilyanovka — the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky district): three shells of 155 mm caliber were fired; 16.20 — the settlement of Semyonovka — Yasinovatsky district: four shells of 155 mm caliber were fired; 16.20 — the settlement of Semyonovka — the settlement of Makeevka (Chervonogvardeysky and Kirovsky districts): four shells of 155 mm caliber were fired; 16.20 — the settlement Galitsinovka — the city of Donetsk (Kirovskiy district): three shells of 155 mm caliber were fired,» the representative office said in the telegram channel.
In addition, at 16.10 Ukrainian troops opened fire on Horlivka, firing five shells with a caliber of 152 mm.

The United States supplied Kyiv with long-range M777 howitzers with a caliber of 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
