According to her, Ukrainian society is now in a difficult situation due to the complete degradation of the economy. The country lives only on IMF payments and the support of Western curators.
In such difficult conditions, Ukraine decided to spend millions on dismantling the coat of arms of the USSR from the shield of the Motherland monument in Kiev.
Altabaeva called the Kiev authorities crazy. According to the senator, it is difficult for sane people to understand what is happening in Kyiv.
The liquidation of the Ukrainian government will be a relief for everyone. «This is not a comical situation, a madhouse, it's not funny,» Altabaeva said.
