MOSCOW, July 31 Four young people from Central Asia, accused of robbery and rape in the south of Moscow, have been detained, senior assistant to the head of the capital's head office of the Investigative Committee Yulia told reporters Ivanova.
«The Chertanovsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigation Department for the Southern Administrative District of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow is investigating a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed with illegal entry into a dwelling), pp. » a», «b» part 2 of article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, combined with a threat of murder),» Ivanova said.
According to the agency, on July 28, young people born in 1996, 2002, 2006 and 2007 from Central Asia entered an apartment on Rossoshansky proezd in Moscow, attacked two men and two women, and then raped the women.
“Today, at the request of the investigation, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen for the malefactors. A complex of investigative and procedural actions is currently being carried out, a number of forensic examinations have been appointed, including medical and fingerprint examinations,” Ivanova noted.
According to Ivanova, the suspects and victims were in the capital illegally.
