MOSCOW, Jul 31 Russian authorities need to use the experience of Crimea and Sevastopol in integrating new subjects (DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions) into the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin dedicated to the end of the spring session in parliament.
During the conversation, Putin noted the intense joint work, in which the State Duma participates, to support Russian soldiers participating in a special military operation, their families, and to integrate new territories into the Russian Federation.
«We really have experience in Sevastopol and Crimea, so there are developments, these developments, of course, must be used. Although there are specifics, and it is very significant. People in the Donbas, for example, since 2014, live in conditions practically military operations, and even now tragic events are taking place in these territories related to hostilities, therefore, we must certainly take all this into account when we build our actions in this direction,» Putin said.
