One of the suspects is being checked for yet another episode of the disappearance of a woman

The first day of August brought terrible news to the residents of Karelia: in the village of Derevyanoe, two families were brutally murdered, only six people, and their houses burned. The killers were quickly detained, they turned out to be outcasts and criminals who kept the entire district in fear.

The village of Derevyanoe, 25 km from Petrozavodsk, on the shores of Lake Onega, has a rich history. Including the military: it was in the area of the village of Derevyannoe on June 28, 1944 that the Soviet troops landed in the Uyskaya Bay began the liberation of Karelia from the Finnish troops. Now the village with sandy beaches has actually become a dacha — many residents of Petrozavodsk have bought houses here and come here for the weekend.

It all started with information about fires that broke out in two houses at once. Fires in these places are not uncommon, it became scary when the fires were extinguished. The bodies of two people were found in one of the houses, and four in the other. It became clear that people did not suffocate in the fire, but died from stab wounds.

As the investigation found out, in one of the houses — along Druzhby Lane — 39-year-old Artyom Tereshchenko and his 70-year-old father Vladimir Tereshchenko, who lives in the same village, but in a different house, were stabbed to death.

At the same time, there could have been much more victims, and among them could have been the children of Artyom and his wife Irina, who was the first to call the duty unit. When robbers broke into the house, the children jumped out the window and ran to their grandfather. The grandfather rushed to his son's aid and was himself killed…

“Terrible news in the morning,” says a local resident, “at night, Tyoma Tereshchenko was stabbed to death in the village, the criminals broke into the house, breaking the latch. Ira was on shift. The kids managed to get out. Andrei (their son) called Uncle Vova, he came running and was also stabbed to death. The house was set on fire! I don't know anything else yet.”

The second house, on Lesnaya Street, caught fire two hours after the first one. A whole family died there — disabled brothers Konstantin and Dmitry Lonin, their sister Svetlana, as well as an elderly 75-year-old man Vladimir Sergeenko, registered nearby, but who was with them that fateful night.

The suspects were identified in hot pursuit, at the time of detention they were very drunk. No wonder, because, as follows from the police report, they were detained at Naberezhnaya Street, house 4. This is where the local pub is located. That is, after the massacres, they went to celebrate this business …

These are two local residents, 37 and 38 years old. Both have previous convictions. It is known that one of them served time for drug trafficking, the other for rape. The interrogation video shows a young man sitting with his back, simply dressed, with a short haircut. “I don’t understand why I’m here,” the suspect says distantly when asked why he was detained.

The motive for the crime in the village is considered to be a banal desire to profit from other people's property, multiplied by a long-standing personal dislike and abuse of alcohol and drugs.

According to the villagers, one of the killers, Maxim Bochkarev, was married, but at the same time he led a marginal lifestyle, periodically having drunken parties and showdowns with neighbors. On the Bochkarev page on the social network there are photos from the wedding, as well as from the hospital: two years ago, the couple had a daughter, who is now destined to grow up without a father. There are also photographs from the «workplace» — after leaving the colony, the man worked part-time at a construction site and logging.

Less is known about the second murderer, Igor Safonov: he lived in Petrozavodsk, had an expired criminal record and periodically came to a friend in the village to drink alcohol together. After such booze, the village groaned: they say that scumbags walked the streets with axes, threatening passers-by, and could easily knock out the door to someone's house or rob someone. In mid-July, 45-year-old local resident Yana Ligorkova disappeared in the village. Now Bochkarev will be checked for involvement in her disappearance.

“One of them has just recently been released, he is not ours,” local resident Andrey shared with MK. — But the second one — Bochkarev, a local celebrity, always wandered around the village in sweatpants in an inadequate manner, did not work anywhere. He and his friend were under drugs again, probably. They suspect that he is also involved in the disappearance of Yana Ligorkova «

— So, as always, until the thunder breaks out, the peasant does not cross himself.
