Side Fighters Polish mercenaries tried to raise the flag of Poland in the Kherson region of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but Russian artillery defeated them, RIA Novosti reports.
The commander of the Russian unit told the agency about this. According to him, there are fortifications of the Polish military opposite the Russian positions, their negotiations are often heard by the fighters of the Russian army.
Once they watched “the Poles put their flags on the position equipped in front of us,” the source said. He believes that, apparently, the Poles «relaxed, allowed themselves too much, since they raised the Polish flag.»
Soon, according to him, the coordinates of the Polish mercenaries were transferred to Russian artillerymen, who immediately delivered an accurate strike.< /p>
“Flags were not raised there anymore,” the commander said.
He also said that Russian soldiers pay special attention to the observation posts of mercenaries who occupy positions opposite.
