MOSCOW, July 29 The Falcon Heavy launch vehicle has launched the US Jupiter 3 satellite into geostationary orbit, SpaceX reports on Twitter.
«Jupiter 3 orbital launch confirmed,» the company said in a statement.
It was previously reported that SpaceX launched a Falcon Heavy launch vehicle carrying a Jupiter 3 satellite, the largest satellite ever launched into geostationary transfer orbit. After separation, two Falcon Heavy side boosters landed at pads LZ-1 and LZ-2 at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
