SUKHUM, August 3 The body of a murdered resident of Abkhazia is being sought at one of the Perepadnye HPPs on the Ingur River, the press service of the republic's Prosecutor General's Office reports.
Information about the disappearance of 28-year-old Natia Bakhtadze appeared at the end of July. Her mother published an appeal to the President of Abkhazia with a call to help in the search.
Today, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic reported that the girl was killed by a local resident, 25-year-old Ainar Tsvizhba — according to investigators, this happened on July 28 in a Lexus salon in the city of Gal. Tsvizhba confessed to his deed and stated that he drowned the body in the third Perepadnaya hydroelectric power station on the Ingur River.
«Currently, search activities are being carried out to find the body of Natia, who was killed by Bakhtadze,» the Prosecutor General's Office specified.
On this fact, the prosecutor's office of the Gali district initiated a criminal case.
