MOSCOW, 4 Aug. Writer Daria Dontsova became a guest of the Life and Fate program. On the air, she remembered how she once received a message on social networks with a photo of host Boris Korchevnikov and a heartbreaking caption.

«I'm alive. Pray for me.» Such words accompanied the message,» said Dontsova.
She added that she did not immediately understand who was asking her for help. The picture showed a bandaged man, whom she later recognized as the Nomads.

«I didn't recognize this man. He was all bandaged … And suddenly I realize that this is Borya Korchevnikov. It was on the eve of one of his operations … It was so scary to see him like that, to be honest,» 71-year-old Dontsova admitted, barely holding back her tears.
As it turned out, the TV presenter and writer have very close and friendly relations. In difficult life periods, they always supported each other.
In 2015, Korchevnikov underwent surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. He had a difficult recovery period and a long rehabilitation.
