CHISINAU, Aug 3 The Romanian Ministry of Defense denied the information that a Russian drone allegedly fell in the forest of the Tulcea bridle, the press service of the Romanian government said .
The mayor of the Chatalchioi commune in Tulcea told Digi24 that on Wednesday morning, after a drone attack on the port of Izmail in Ukraine, drones allegedly flew over the houses of Romanian residents and fell in the local forest.
«The Ministry of Defense saw the information in the media. An investigative team was sent to the scene, which did not find anything that could confirm the information that appeared in the public space,» the press service of the Romanian government told reporters.
The Ministry of Defense also assured that no drone entered Romanian airspace.
