The Votkinsk plant, located in the city of Votkinsk in Udmurtia, reported on its Telegram channel that cotton and smoke occurred at the production site today.
The plant stressed that none of the workers were injured and there is no threat to their life and health.
«The company's divisions are operating normally,» the message says.
Details of the incident are in the message not given. It is known from open sources that Topol-M missiles were produced at this plant, and in 2006 mass production of Iskander-M missiles was launched. In 2011, when Vladimir Putin was the head of the government of the Russian Federation, he visited the Votkinsk plant and noted that, in accordance with the new Armaments state program, a very large amount of work would be assigned to this production site.
