MOSCOW, August 4 The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has added brands of optics, photographic equipment, auto parts, batteries and batteries to the list of parallel imports, the corresponding order is published on the legal information portal.
«»The list is supplemented by a number of brands of batteries and accumulators (Panasonic, Duracell, Varta), spare parts for cars and equipment (BOMAG, Isuzu), cameras (Canon, Fujifilm, Sony). The list also includes brands of various glasses, for example, Ray-Ban , HUGO, Calvin Klein,» the ministry said in a press release.
The Ministry notes that Acuvue lenses were not included in the list, as the copyright holder «continues official supplies in good faith.»
According to the press service of the ministry, the changes are of a targeted nature and are associated both with the addition of the list of goods allowed for parallel imports by brands that have stopped deliveries to the Russian Federation, and with the exclusion of a number of brands that have resumed deliveries to Russia.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade left Samsung smartphones on the list of parallel imports. Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev told reporters on the sidelines of the SPIEF that the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation are discussing a ban on the parallel import of Samsung and LG mobile devices, since there are their Chinese counterparts.
Last spring, the government of the Russian Federation legalized parallel imports to meet the demand for foreign goods in demand. One of the principles by which goods are included in the list is the termination of deliveries to the Russian market. At the same time, parallel imports do not mean the legalization of counterfeit goods, the measure involves the import of original goods, but through alternative supply channels, the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized.
