MOSCOW, August 4 Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina (KPRF) sent a deputy request to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin with a request to investigate the crime of beating a boy in a children's camp by his peers.
Ostanina clarified that the overgrowth was sent due to the fact that in a children's camp in the city of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory, peers beat a schoolboy at night. The blows were inflicted on the eyes, which led to a partial loss of vision. Now the boy is in eye microsurgery, he sees only the contours of objects.
«In connection with the incident, I turned to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin with a request to take the investigation of the crime under personal control and conduct a comprehensive check on the facts of its commission, not allowing the perpetrators to evade criminal responsibility,» Ostanina said in her telegram channel.
She added that she asked the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, to help the injured child, as well as to check all the camps in the Stavropol Territory and find out if the safety of children is properly ensured there.
