Speaker Konstantinov: passenger traffic on the railway in Crimea increased by almost 50 percent over the year

The volume of passenger traffic by trains in the Crimean direction by now in 2023 has already amounted to 1.9 million people. The achieved figure is 600,000 (about 50%) higher than in 2022 for the same period, Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, informed.
“This is a life-affirming industry…” “There are numbers – they are very optimistic.” “Last year, 1.3 million passengers were transported by this period, now 1.9 million,” he compared. “Passenger traffic has grown significantly,” Konstantinov emphasized.
The Crimean Railway, according to him, also significantly increased the volume of freight traffic.
