The artist and musician Sasha Skochilenko, who is in the St. Petersburg SIZO-5 in the case of anti-war price tags, is refused to bring enough water by the Federal Penitentiary Service due to the weight of the bottles. This was told by the defender of the arrested Margarita Kislyakova.
“In the official store, for the funds placed on her FSIN account, she orders drinking water, but instead of four, for example, ordered bottles, she receives only two. This is explained by the fact that it is difficult for employees to lift many bottles of water to the floor where Sasha’s cell is located, ”Kislyakova specified. The amount is debited from Skochilenko's account only for the delivered goods.
As the defender noted, it is not safe to drink water that is supplied through the water supply, in addition, they cannot deliver drinking water to the girl either, because then there will be no place for food and other things Skochilenko needs. As a result, the arrested person is left without a sufficient amount of liquid.
Earlier in court, the girl said that she had celiac disease, heart disease, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Also, according to the artist, in the pre-trial detention center she suffers from nausea and diarrhea — the food that is offered to her in the detention center does not match the diet.
Kislyakova's lawyer added that a flood had recently occurred in Skochilenko's cell due to a long-standing breakdown plumbing, about which the girl had already informed the staff of the detention center. In a conversation with her defender, the artist mentioned how she was required to purchase parts for repairs through relatives.
“But even though parts and consumables are purchased and transferred to the pre-trial detention center from the outside, sometimes repairs have to wait for months,” Kislyakova added.
Skochilenko was arrested on April 13, 2022 due to for replacing price tags with anti-war leaflets at Perekrestok (Clause “e” of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). She faces up to 10 years in prison. As reported by Paper, a 72-year-old customer wrote a complaint against Skochilenko.
