On behalf of a resident of Tver, Ivan Kudryashov, who was convicted in the case of preparing to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office, a letter came from the pre-trial detention center, which was written in someone else's handwriting, reports the Solidarity Zone. In early August, lawyer Maxim Kharchenko found his client in the psychiatric department of the regional hospital of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Torzhok.
The letter, the handwriting of which differs from that in other messages, spoke of “problems in the head” due to for 40 days of hunger strike. “In one solitary cell, I turned off the water tap, and in another solitary cell, I broke the sink,” the letter says. Also, on behalf of Kudryashov, the addressee was told about a «nervous breakdown.»
According to representatives of the «Zone of Solidarity», with the help of this letter, the leadership of the hospital where the prisoner is located, «is trying to mislead the public.»
“Ladies and gentlemen from the FKU OB UFSIN in the Tver region, you have been exposed, your tricks will not help you hide what is happening! But you can still remedy the situation: stop injecting Ivan Kudryashov with psychotropic drugs, untie him from the bed and help him get away from your “treatment” as soon as possible,” human rights activists added.
On June 20, the 2nd Western District Military Court appointed a resident of Tver for six years in a strict regime colony — he was found guilty of preparing for a terrorist attack (part 1 of article 30 of the Criminal Code, part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code).
