MOSCOW, August 6 On the Chongarsky bridge between the Kherson region and the Crimea, as a result of a strike by Ukrainian troops, three holes were formed, the supporting structures of the building were not damaged, the Acting Governor of the Kherson region said Volodymyr Saldo on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Earlier, he reported that Ukrainian troops attacked the Chongarsky bridge and the village of Chongar with Storm Shadow missiles, there was a hit in the school.
«There are three holes on the Chongarsky bridge , which did not violate the bearing part of the bridge. But they disrupted traffic on it,» Saldo said.
Traffic on the bridge will be restored by the end of the day, he added.
«On the bridge , which connects Genichesk and the Arabat Spit: there, in general, the traffic intensity is low, for the most part, local residents and tourists use it. Traffic has not been restored yet, but will be restored by the end of the day today,» Sald said.
