Law enforcement agencies have charged a resident of the village of Nerchinsky Zavod with intentionally damaging property in the case of beating a participant in a special military operation, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Trans-Baikal Territory reported.
On August 6, the governor of Transbaikalia, Alexander Osipov, reported that in the village of Nerchinskiy Zavod, a drunken company had beaten a participant in a special operation who had lost his leg during the fighting. In addition, the car belonging to him was damaged. The police detained a 27-year-old man, and cases are being investigated against him under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the department, the investigation and operational-search measures are ongoing to collect evidence of the detainee's involvement in a resonant attack on a resident of the village of Nerchinsky Zavod after conflict in a cafe.
